All of our customers run our Windows based system: the Scoria Retail Suite. The installation base for our customers spans a range from small retailers to large (500+ locations). Our market focus is Tier 2, 3 and 4 retailers within North America.

Marketing Specialist

Job Description

  • Develop marketing plans based on our customer segments to drive new business opportunities
  • Assist with creating marketing collateral such as fact sheets, newsletters and press releases
  • Use social media channels to increase Crimson's visibility and that of our products
  • Prepare savvy email campaigns to stimulate awareness of our products and analyze the effectiveness of those campaigns
  • Contribute to the content for white papers, blogs and infographics
  • Keep up to date with new marketing techniques and strategies
  • Help coordinate activities surrounding trade shows
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to define target markets and uncover potential new business
  • Maintain the company's style brand

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of marketing experience, preferably with B2B
  • Relevant college or university accreditation
  • Able to create well written and compelling documents and presentations
  • Adept with social media tools
  • Demonstrates creativity with a self-starter's approach
  • Strong commitment to deadlines, accuracy of information and professionalism
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft suite of applications, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel using pivot tables
  • Knowledge of the Retail industry and Point-Of-Sale software is desirable
